Hi..! My name is “Marlen Squiries”. I am a Spiritual Coach and a Holistic Therapist. I am originally from Monterrey, Mexico. I actually live in Atlanta, Georgia.
I would like to introduce myself.. “How I became a spiritual coach..?” My profession is Dentist. I was working as a Dentist for thirteen years. But, I was always interested in the metaphysical world and all the spiritual things. I was like forteen.. I was kind of mystic too.. I still love it.
I would like to share with you..
Slide- How Meditation has changed my life..?
In the year 2006.. I started to meditate. I remember my first class of Reiki.. and to be honest.. I didn’t know exactly.. “What am I going to do..?” I even remember that.. I probably fell asleep. But, that day.. I really felt like something different that.. I was curious to continue.. and I kept going to my classes.. doing meditation
In the year 2012, I moved to the United States. All the situations.. different life.. different culture.. everything.. moved something inside of me.. and I felt depressed.. kind of anxiety.
I remember that.. I went to the doctor and I said, “This is not me.. is something going on..?” He gave me medication.
Something inside of me knew that.. the medication.. that was not the right path. I always have that connection with God.. and I was praying.. and I asked, “What I need to do.. in order to have peace..?” Suddenly.. the word came to my mind.. “Meditation..”(TH) Since that day.. I have been a meditator.
It just took me one month to realize that.. I do not need any medication. I need to connect with my real source.. my divine source.. that made me feel more connected to see life.. with more clarity.. to go with my life with more purpose. The part was not easy because many people say.. Oh..! I cannot meditate.. I have tried to meditate. But, believe me..
Slide- There is no good meditator or bad meditator. Every person has their own way to do it.
I actually conduct meditation classes every wednesday. I always share.. that with my classmates.. do not wait for.. too much expectations.. when you meditate. One of the things.. that I always share is.. when you feel disconnected with yourself.. any state to look at like.. I am gonna go.. I am gonna talk with a friend.. I am gonna go with the doctor. So, we always look outside of the box.
Take a look inside. I think nowadays.. sometimes we are really doing many things.. and want to be connected with our breath.. observe our breathing.. it is like that. It is something.. magic that happens there. That is what.. I am here to tell you that.
Slide- To get into the practice of meditation. You do not need anything else.. you just need yourself.
Sit in a comfortable position.. and connect with your “Breath”. Observe your “Breath”. Put aside all the expectations. If a thought comes up.. do not observe.. do not wait to criticize that thought.. just put aside.. and come back to your breath and observe.
You will see.. how your life along the way.. will be different.
Slide – “Meditation..” does not give you the solution.. for the problems.
“Meditation..” gives you the access.. to see your problems with a better solution.
Slide – The Universe brings you the people.. brings you the opportunities.. brings you the source.. in order to connect with yourself.
On the other hand.. I also like to say that.. when you want to be connected.. when you want to be in that vibration.. try to be around nature. Because “Nature is part of meditation”. Go for a walk.. it is like a different kind of meditation. But, it is like “Meditation”.
Read some books.. that I will recommend. Some of the books that have impacted me.. in my life.

Try to meditate.. and try to connect with yourself. Believe me.. you are not going to regret it.
